Modus managers bring a wide breadth of scientific knowledge from experience on previous projects, have backgrounds in a variety of science disciplines, are WIPO trained for IP management, and provide an established methodology for innovation management (SQUADRONTM). As such, MOD will support AU in coordinating GlioLighT, ensure the project progresses smoothly, and lead communication, dissemination, and exploitation activities.
Meet our Researchers
James Dickie joined MODUS in 2020, after completing his PhD in cancer vaccines from Southampton University. Prior to this he worked in the NHS providing immunophenotyping services for organ transplants. His academic experience grants him insight into the real-world challenges of research, whilst his clinical experience grants insight to real world applications of research, necessary skills for the development of a successful research innovations. James’ greatest interest is scientific dissemination, with years of engagement with a variety of different audiences, from experts to the public.
Kristin joined Modus in 2024, with a background in Physics and Astronomy. She completed an integrated Master’s degree in Astrophysics at the University of St Andrews with a focus on proto-planetary disks and exoplanetary science. Kristin is passionate about making science accessible to a broad audience and has years of experience in science communication.
